Donating to the PTSA is an investment in our students and the Mercer community and helps ensure our activities and events are sufficiently funded. Mercer PTSA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, so your donations are tax deductible (Tax I.D 91-1330076).
In addition to donations to support the work of the PTSA, we are also accepting donations for grocery gift cards for Mercer families experiencing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instructions to give are below.
Ways You Can Give
Donate online* – You can use a credit or debit card or PayPal. You can indicate where you want your gift to go (a dropdown menu provides options) or use the “add a note” area if you’d like to donate to something that is not listed. (You can also pay for Spirit Wear or PTSA membership via this link; they are not tax deductible.)
*If you have a PayPal account, you can help us avoid fees by logging into your account, clicking on the “send & request” tab, and entering email@example.com, then choosing “sending to a friend” for payment reason.

Or leave it in the PTSA drop-box in the school’s main office. If your gift is for something specific, please write that in the memo line. (If your check is for Spirit Wear or PTSA membership, please indicate that in the memo line as well; they are not tax deductible.)
AmazonSmile - When you sign up for AmazonSmile, Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price of any items purchased through smile.amazon.com. AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice (choose ASA Mercer Middle School PTSA). More info about the program here. You may need to separately select our PTSA on your phone and your home computer -- the choice may not follow you to all your devices.
